Welcome to the Centennial Properties NY Blog

This is the launch of our first-ever blog, and we're excited to start sharing content with you — our readers. But first, a little bit about us. 

Centennial Properties NY is a full-service management and brokerage firm specializing in no-fee rental apartments. Our focus is exclusively on residential and retail spaces within the New York City rental market. We are also a family-owned business, run by father-son team Steve Croman, Founder & President, and Jake Croman, Associate. The Cromans and the rest of the Centennial team work directly with individuals, families, and small business owners to help them find their new home-sweet-home in New York's best neighborhoods.

So, why did we start this blog?

Centennial Properties NY has been around for quite some time now, but we realized that our website has been missing something. Up to this point, we've only really shared our featured property listings online so that our tenants can see what properties we have available. While this is an essential part of our business, it's not everything that Centennial Properties has to offer. And it's this perspective that revealed a need for us to expand our website to include a blog page as well. 

What can you expect to see in our posts?

It's important for us to showcase our listings to interested tenants, but we are more than just a real estate firm. At Centennial Properties NY, we have a deep love and commitment for New York and its incredible people, neighborhoods, and buildings.

We want to share with New York's communities why we choose to restore our properties with respect to their original character, rather than tear them down and rebuild them. We want to share with our tenants the amenities we include in our residential apartments that will help to make their lives more convenient, enjoyable, and safer. We also want to pay homage to our amazing tenants that are doing incredible things in our spaces. We have seen these small businesses owners thrive against all odds in the pandemic, not only pulling themselves through these incredibly challenging times, but uplifting the rest of the community as well. We want to tell their stories and share their offerings to the community, whether it's through the food, clothing, or art they sell.
